Fitch Ratings affirmed ratings of Alfa-Bank Ukraine
On February 3, 2021, international rating agency Fitch Ratings affirmed the ratings of JSC “ALFA-BANK”: international scale long-term and short-term ratings at B-/B/Stable, national scale rating at BBB+(ukr)/Stable, as well as viability and support ratings.Fitch Ratings suggests that despite the quarantine restrictions, during the analysed period of 9 months of 2020 Alfa‑Bank Ukraine improved loan portfolio quality and capitalization, maintained strong liquidity cushion, and boosted pre-impairment profitability.
Besides the Bank’s ratings, Fitch Ratings has affirmed long-term credit rating at B- and national scale credit rating at BBB+(ukr) (investment grade) of UAH-denominated bonds of the Bank Series S (ISIN UA4000198931).
