Vadim Zingman appointed as President of Alfa Group

Alfa Group announces the appointment of the well-known Russian top-manager Vadim Zingman to the position of President of Alfa Group effective from October 15, 2019.
Vadim Zingman will focus both on improving the quality of cross-functional links between the consortium's businesses and on organizing structural interaction with state and public institutions within the business activities of all Alfa Group companies.
The new appointment, as well as the emergence of the position of President of Alfa Group, does not imply strengthening of the leadership role of the consortium over its assets or any other structural changes within Alfa Group.
According to Mikhail Fridman, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Alfa Group Consortium, “Alfa Group Consortium does not manage its assets directly but ensures development and improvement of such assets in the interests of shareholders. We hope that Vadim Zingman will bring a new vision, new competencies that will benefit all our companies.”
Vadim Zingman was born in 1970 in St. Petersburg and graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance with honors. He is a Candidate of Economic Sciences. For many years he has held senior positions in government agencies and commercial enterprises. Since 2018, he has been a member of the central headquarters of the All-Russia People’s Front. Mr. Zingman was awarded with the Order of Friendship, Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the 2nd degree, Gratitude of the President of Russia.
